Village In the City

Mississauga is a Collection of Villages

Village in the City has been developed because we know that the diversity of Mississauga is highly reflected in its real estate. Before the city of Mississauga existed as we know it today, this area was dotted with many smaller villages, each with its own culture, history, affluence and appeal. We know that the reason why you have chosen to live in your selected area has a lot to do with the uniqueness of that Village. You will see that Jeff O'Leary is your local neighbourhood expert and will provide you the information you need to know, in order to make a wise purchase or sale of real estate in Mississauga.

Mississauga

Is an excellent place to live, work and play! With a population of well over 700,000 residents, Mississauga is Canada's 6th largest city and one of the safest urban areas in North America. As part of the Greater Toronto Area, Mississauga residents are close to the world class attractions of Toronto, with the average distance from downtown Toronto being 20 - 30 km.

Centuries old Village in the City- Streetsville  If you are new to Mississauga, you will find a modern city built around traditional neighbourhoods. Mississauga was incorporated in 1974 and amalgamated the the Villages of Streetsville, Meadowvale, Carkson, Port Credit, Cooksville and Malton.
Mississauga is a very multi cultural city, where approximatley half of the population speaks a first language other than English or French (Canada's offical languages). One of the great achievements of Mississauga is the integration of the population, and it is important to note that there is not one dominant language or minority group.    Neo Eclectic housing- Central Erin Mills, Mississauga

One of Mississauga's main strengths is its abundance of high salary jobs, and its healthy economic status. Many corporate headquarters are located in Mississauga, in the I/T, Banking, Pharmaceutical and Retail industries.
The average number of post secondary graduates and average household income is higher than the Canadian, Provincial and Greater Toronto Area average. Mississauga is home to the University of Toronto's Mississauga campus and many of the Province's top ranked primary and secondary schools.

Mississauga City Centre Business District
Traditional post war suburban style housing- Clarkson, Mississauga  Real Estate in Mississauga ranges from century old heritage homes to new, cutting edge condominiums. Having almost tripled in size over the last 30 years, the majority of real estate in Mississauga is between 10-30 years old, with price points from entry level to multi million dollar homes.
Majestic View of Lake Ontario- Port Credit Mississauga  Mississauga is home to countless different neighbourhoods and regardless of your taste, style or preference, Mississauga has a property for you.
